Elementis (ELM) – This chemical firm has “undeservedly lagged” the rally in its sector. Volumes have stabililsed, indicating that a recovery may have begun. Buy ahead of the catch-up – Current price 28p – year high 91p year low 22p
Modern Water (MWG) – This company has yet to make a profit, but that should change dramatically as its desalination technology is more widely adopted. Its a bit of a punt for the brave. Current price 44p – year high 105p year low 26p
